Description:
- Senior Database Reliability Engineer responsible for the health, performance, and cost-efficiency of databases powering EMR and related products.
- Role involves proactive problem-solving, architecture shaping, and ensuring database reliability and performance.
Requirements:
- 6+ years in database reliability engineering, administration, or engineering with production systems.
- Deep MySQL expertise, including query optimization and replication, with Aurora MySQL experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with large Aurora or RDS clusters and database observability tools (Datadog, PMM).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Solid AWS operational knowledge, especially around RDS/Aurora.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
