The role of Senior DevOps Engineer is crucial for managing and maintaining the financial services platform, which operates on a 24x7, highly available architecture.
The position emphasizes simplicity in design and communication, and seeks a candidate with a strong DevOps mentality who is passionate about building cloud-native, fully automated solutions with security in mind.
Responsibilities include building and supporting service solutions, managing AWS, Windows, and Linux systems, and orchestrating environment development using Kubernetes and Terraform.
The engineer will also develop processes to integrate DevOps into the engineering lifecycle and lead junior DevOps/SRE Engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must be experts in system build configuration and deployment automation.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
Proficiency in container and fleet management tools like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux and building/maintaining a SaaS platform is necessary.
Experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, and Terraform is required.
Candidates must have strong scripting skills in Ruby, Bash, or Python.
Experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence is needed.
A background in software application-driven development roles with knowledge of software data structures and design patterns is preferred.
Experience with production system integration, log collection, and performance monitoring/tuning is required.
