Remote Senior Engineer- Mobile iOS Platform

Description:

• Work on evolving the architecture of Spotify’s mobile platform across iOS and shared systems.
• Design and implement strategies for developing and testing systems in isolation to reduce complexity.
• Enable interoperability between iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and shared C++ codebases.
• Build and maintain platform-level components for application state and logic flow.
• Collaborate with teams to improve developer experience and system design.
• Use AI tools for solution exploration and rapid prototyping.
• Define and track success metrics for developer productivity and system performance.
• Contribute to technical strategy and long-term platform direction.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in iOS development and exposure to C++.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, modularization, and scalable system design.
• Familiarity with service-oriented systems and lifecycle management.
• Commitment to improving developer experience and reducing cognitive load.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with using AI tools for exploration and prototyping.
• Product-oriented approach to platform work, linking technical decisions to outcomes.
