Remote Senior full-stack engineer

Description:

• We are looking for a founding engineer who wants to build, ship, and scale with us.
• You will be one of our first engineers, working directly with the founders to deliver the core product.
• The role involves taking on meaningful ownership across the stack, including React/Next.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• You will help us move fast while keeping our systems solid and secure.
• As part of a small, focused team (currently under five people), your work will have a direct impact on product direction, architecture, and early engineering culture.
• You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to build intuitive, reliable interfaces and AI-driven workflows that genuinely help people.
• Responsibilities include owning major features end-to-end, building across the stack, using metrics and user feedback to refine our builds, influencing architecture and engineering practices, and prioritizing security and ethics, especially when handling sensitive healthcare data.

Requirements:

• You should have approximately 5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade software.
• Fluency in React/Next.js, React Native, Python, and PostgreSQL is required, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
• You must be an “A-player” builder who enjoys solving problems rather than just following specifications.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in daily tasks to enhance productivity is necessary.
• You should balance speed and quality, knowing when to ship and when to refactor.
• Comfort in working within a small, fast-moving team where priorities can evolve is essential.
• You must reside on the US East Coast, as we plan to collocate as the company grows.
• A commitment to doing the right thing for users, particularly regarding their health or privacy, is crucial.
