Description:
- Whatnot is the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe, focused on redefining e-commerce by blending community, shopping, and entertainment.
- The company operates as a remote co-located team with hubs in the US, UK, Germany, Ireland, and Poland.
- The role is for a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the Games & Buyer Ecosystem Team in China, developing features for the US and Europe markets.
- Responsibilities include designing and developing end-to-end gamified mechanisms to drive purchases and engagement, building interactive challenges and reward systems, developing innovative systems and features for mobile/web apps, and analyzing performance metrics and user feedback to refine product strategies.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have 4+ years of development experience in mobile, web, or backend services.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
- A proven track record of delivering user-facing features and shipping products and features quickly is essential.
- Excellent product instincts with a user-first approach rather than focusing solely on technical solutions are necessary.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills are required, without reliance on translation apps.
- Bonus qualifications include experience building e-commerce products and shipping end-to-end features including UI and service.
