Remote Senior Golang Developer (m/f/d) - SCAYLE Storefront Platform - Hamburg or Berlin (hybrid)

Description:

• We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Golang Developer to join our SCAYLE Storefront Platform Unit onsite in Hamburg or remote within the EU.
• As the Storefront Platform Team, we are dedicated to developing an innovative hosting platform that enables our tenants to seamlessly host their frontends on our infrastructure.
• By leveraging our extensive experience in hosting services, we provide best-in-class defaults and scalability to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• We collaborate closely with our DevOps team, as the platform is built on cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Postgres, and Cloudflare.
• Together, we create a robust foundation that empowers our tenants to focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
• What you will do includes building a platform to allow our tenants to deploy their frontend services, ensuring a working and smooth deployment process for our tenants which is easy to manage, working on a robust product in the AWS ecosystem, drafting architectural decisions together with our Tech Lead and exploring new technologies, having a direct impact on team processes by regular agile retrospectives, and exchanging your knowledge with other developers as part of our ABOUT YOU TECH community.

Requirements:

• You have 3+ years of experience in building complex backend APIs.
• You are very proficient in Go development.
• Optional: Experience with Kubernetes and/or Terraform.
• You have experience in working with relational databases (e.g. Postgres) and key-value stores (e.g. Redis).
• You write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase in check.
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy building scalable distributed systems.
• You are used to working in an English-speaking and agile environment.
• Nice to have: Experience in the AWS Ecosystem, familiarity with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions, and understanding of DevOps, Containerization, and Cloud solutions.
