Description:

  • Seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer for the UK Digital Data & Cloud Practice.
  • Work with high-profile trading clients in financial services, focusing on Java-based development in a high-volume message processing environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience with trading/financial platforms processing millions of messages daily, with knowledge of latency, resiliency, and throughput optimization.
  • Proficient in Java, SQL, Kafka, Spring framework, REST API development, and cloud-native applications using Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with build tools (Gradle, Maven, Git), caching services (Redis), and AI coding assistants.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
