Description:

  • Seeking a Senior Java Video Streaming Engineer with expertise in transcoding, packaging, and delivery workflows.
  • Role involves architecting, implementing, and optimizing live and on-demand streaming pipelines in Wowza Streaming Engine.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on Java development in performance-critical, large-scale systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in transcoding and packaging workflows (Wowza or similar).
  • Deep understanding of Java concurrency, JVM internals, and JNI for integrating with C/C++ libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of video codecs (H.264, H.265, VP8, VP9, AV1) and streaming protocols (RTMP, RTSP, HLS, MPEG-DASH).
