Remote Senior/Lead Software Engineer - Developer Experience (Berlin or Krakow)

Description:

• SmartRecruiters is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer with a focus on Developer Experience to join their team in Berlin or Krakow.
• The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying critical components of the platform.
• The engineer will promote solutions across the engineering organization, optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and collaborate with teams in different locations.

Requirements:

• Great commercial experience in Java and/or JS/TS/Node.js.
• Good analytical skills and experience working with SQL language and relational databases.
• Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs, familiarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting, and modern distributed systems architectures and patterns.
• Familiarity with test automation techniques and excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Go, Python, NoSQL databases, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes systems.
