Remote Senior ML Ops Engineer

Description:

• Wizard AI is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to manage the ML lifecycle for a custom-built inference platform.
• The role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing production-grade ML pipelines for a conversational shopping agent.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, or related fields with ownership of production ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with deploying and maintaining LLMs and deep learning models in production.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML lifecycle tooling.
• Knowledge of inference optimization and ability to manage tradeoffs between latency, cost, and reliability.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments.
