Remote Senior Platform Engineer

Description:

• Lead the transition from a traditional DevOps model to platform-as-a-product at Nearmap.
• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability platforms for engineering teams.
• Treat the platform as a product, owning initiatives from design to operation and communicating with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in platform or infrastructure engineering roles.
• 3+ years with public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux infrastructure.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience in CI/CD, logging, monitoring tools, and observability within Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting and deployment automation skills.
• Background in consulting or fast-paced environments preferred.
