Remote Senior Product Security Engineer

Description:

• Help mature Affirm's insider threat program by building controls, detection use cases, and investigative practices.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Privacy, and Compliance to ensure the program is effective and respects employee privacy.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in security engineering, security operations, insider risk, or digital forensics.
• Experience running investigations end to end, including evidence handling and log forensics.
• Ability to write and evaluate detection logic in a SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Elastic).
• Hands-on experience with insider risk tooling (DLP, UEBA, EDR, CASB).
• Working knowledge of Python for security tooling and automation.
• Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Tines, Torq).
• Strong communication skills to work across various departments.
• Experience in regulated or financial services environments is a plus.
