Remote (Senior) QA Engineer

Description:

• Join a growing SaaS start-up focused on optimizing crew logistics in global shipping and travel.
• As the first dedicated QA engineer, take ownership of quality assurance across engineering, product, design, and customer experience.

Requirements:

• Several years of QA engineering experience with senior-level ownership of test strategy and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript; familiarity with modern web engineering stack is a plus.
• Experience in early-stage or growth-stage startups, preferably as the first QA engineer.
• B2B SaaS background; experience with travel or booking products is highly preferred.
• Strong judgment on defect management and root cause analysis.
• Ability to set a test strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Based in Berlin, Munich, or EMEA with good overlap with core team hours.
