Description:

Responsible for migrating a large Qt 4.8 codebase to Qt 6 while ensuring backward compatibility.
Analyze and optimize existing Qt APIs, GUI components, and architecture structures for stability and performance.
Collaborate closely with embedded teams and possess a deep understanding of Embedded Linux build systems, ideally PTXdist.
Ensure firmware builds are controllable, maintainable, and stable for updates.
Proactively drive software maintenance, vulnerability management, and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
Several years of experience in C++, including modern standards and legacy codebases.
Deep knowledge of Qt, especially Qt 4 and Qt 6, with experience in migrations between versions.
Understanding of Qt Widgets, Qt Quick, deprecated APIs, and modern Qt architectures.
Familiarity with Embedded Linux, including PTXdist, cross-compiling, and firmware build & deployment.
Experience in memory management, debugging, and efficient embedded programming.
Previous work experience in industrial or device-related environments is a plus.
Fluent in English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
