Description:

Design, develop and maintain business-critical GIS applications and services.
Implement modern backend solutions using Java and related technologies.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, system integrations and data processing services.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
Contribute to the evolution of GIS architecture towards modern, service-oriented platforms.

Requirements:

Several years of professional experience in software engineering and backend development.
Strong knowledge of Java and modern backend frameworks (preferably Spring Boot).
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and distributed system integrations.
Strong SQL skills and practical experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Understanding of software architecture patterns and clean code principles.
Language skills: German and English at B2 level.
