  • The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test frameworks to ensure software quality across enterprise systems and data-driven applications.
  • Responsibilities include partnering with business analysts and developers to ensure requirements are testable, leading manual and automated testing activities, overseeing defect lifecycle management, and designing automated test frameworks.
  • The role also involves leading accessibility compliance testing, planning performance testing, providing quality status reporting, and serving as a quality advocate within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will mentor junior QA staff and identify improvements to QA methodologies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least seven (7โ€“10+) years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or test engineering roles, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in developing enterprise-level test strategies, test plans, and automated testing frameworks is required.
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar is necessary.
  • Extensive experience using Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, and sprint workflows is essential.
  • A strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, is required.
  • Hands-on experience leading Section 508/accessibility compliance testing using relevant tools is necessary.
  • Experience leading performance and integration testing activities is required.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting, are essential.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
