As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will join a collaborative engineering team that integrates quality assurance into the software development process.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, customer success, and designers to ensure exceptional quality and user satisfaction for every feature.
The role involves hands-on testing, automation, and innovative problem-solving, including driving automation efforts with tools like Playwright and conducting manual testing as needed.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks, collaborating with engineers to identify potential issues early, and conducting exploratory testing for complex workflows.
The position also includes monitoring production systems, documenting QA strategies, and contributing to cross-functional projects.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with Page Object Model patterns is required.
Experience with automation tools like Playwright or Cypress and designing reusable frameworks is necessary.
You should have experience with Vue.js or similar modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular).
Understanding of API and integration testing, along with experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, is essential.
Familiarity with testing AI/ML features that produce non-deterministic outputs is preferred.
You should thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoy collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers.
Skills in exploratory and manual testing, with an eye for spotting edge cases, are important.
You should be excited about experimenting with AI/LLMs to redefine traditional QA approaches.
