  • As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will join a collaborative engineering team that integrates quality assurance into the software development process.
  • You will work closely with developers, product managers, customer success, and designers to ensure exceptional quality and user satisfaction for every feature.
  • The role involves hands-on testing, automation, and innovative problem-solving, including driving automation efforts with tools like Playwright and conducting manual testing as needed.
  • You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks, collaborating with engineers to identify potential issues early, and conducting exploratory testing for complex workflows.
  • The position also includes monitoring production systems, documenting QA strategies, and contributing to cross-functional projects.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with Page Object Model patterns is required.
  • Experience with automation tools like Playwright or Cypress and designing reusable frameworks is necessary.
  • You should have experience with Vue.js or similar modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular).
  • Understanding of API and integration testing, along with experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, is essential.
  • Familiarity with testing AI/ML features that produce non-deterministic outputs is preferred.
  • You should thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoy collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • Skills in exploratory and manual testing, with an eye for spotting edge cases, are important.
  • You should be excited about experimenting with AI/LLMs to redefine traditional QA approaches.
  • A commitment to pragmatic excellence and mentoring teammates is expected.
