Remote Senior React Native Engineer

Description:

• MoonPay is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to help onboard the world to Web3.
• The role involves architecting and developing new and existing products and features.
• You will work with Product Managers to devise the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes.
• Collaboration with other product teams is essential to deliver and improve customer-facing features.
• You will contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
• The position requires integrating and working closely with external service providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintaining and improving the existing codebase is a key responsibility.
• Writing fully tested, high-quality, and performant code is expected.
• You will work closely with designers, product thinkers, and customers to impact the lives of millions of users.
• The engineering discipline is organized in small cross-functional squads of 4-6 engineers, an embedded Product Manager, and a Product Data Analyst.
• The company values a fluid structure, allowing team members to move between teams or specialize.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have extensive React Native or mobile experience at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies.
• Confidence in developing, releasing, and maintaining server applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment is required.
• Familiarity with some of the tech stack is necessary, or the ability to cross-train and upskill quickly.
• Bonus points for making open-source contributions or having experience in Web3.
• As a Senior Engineer, you will be expected to mentor and coach other engineers.
• You should champion the writing of high-quality code and contribute to the overall approach and standards within the Engineering discipline.
• Leading initiatives from an engineering perspective while partnering closely with product managers is also expected.
