Description:
- Senior Security Engineer role focused on detection engineering at LinkedIn.
- Responsible for designing, building, and operating high-signal detections across various environments (endpoint, identity, cloud, SaaS).
- Collaborate with multiple teams to enhance threat detection capabilities and improve security telemetry.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in CyberSecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in security, detection engineering, or incident response.
- Experience with SIEM/XDR/EDR, cloud telemetry (Azure/AWS/GCP), and programming for detections (Python, KQL/SQL).
- Familiarity with attacker TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK) and detection efficacy metrics.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $129,000 to $212,000, based on experience and location.
- Total compensation may include performance bonuses, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.
