Description:

Join Muon's Security Engineering & IT team as a Senior Security Engineer to protect infrastructure, data, and personnel.
Advance security posture across satellites, ground systems, mission networks, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-171 and ITAR/EAR.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in information security or security engineering roles.
Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
Familiarity with satellite communication protocols and embedded systems.
Experience securing aerospace or mission systems, including flight software and command-and-control interfaces.
Proficiency in secure software practices, cloud security in AWS, and SIEM platforms.
Strong networking knowledge and familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST 800-171.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to engineers and leadership.

Salary range of $154,000 - $207,000, plus equity compensation.
