Remote Senior Security Engineer

Description:

• Senior Security Engineer responsible for protecting systems, data, and infrastructure at Rezilient, focusing on safeguarding PHI and PII.
• Design, build, and operate security controls across cloud and application security, identity management, and incident response.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in information security or related role, preferably in healthcare or cloud environments.
• Deep experience with AWS security, application security, IAM, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST frameworks and experience with audits.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, Bash) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment.
