Description:

Seeking a Senior Security RMF Engineer to support the VA.gov Platform in cybersecurity transformation.
Role involves bridging VA security/RMF requirements with engineering teams to implement security controls in cloud environments.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree + 4 years or Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of Cyber Security Engineer experience.
Strong experience with NIST RMF and NIST 800-53 security controls.
Experience with ATOs, security control assessments, and remediation planning.
Ability to understand cloud infrastructure and translate compliance requirements into technical tasks.
Strong written communication skills and ability to work with technical teams and stakeholders.
