Description:

Architect, scale, and improve reliability, availability, and performance of multi-region microservices, APIs, and authentication infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
Lead design and enforcement of SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budget frameworks across engineering teams.
Drive observability strategy using Datadog to reduce MTTD/MTTR and eliminate alert fatigue.
Manage on-call escalation, major incident management, and ensure adherence to 99.99% availability SLAs.
Facilitate blameless post-incident reviews and execute root-cause remediations.
Architect and manage production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and implement GitOps workflows.
Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform across multi-account, multi-region environments.
Build and maintain FinOps dashboards for cost-optimization insights.
Write production-grade Python or Go tooling to eliminate operational toil.
Champion AI-assisted software development workflows to enhance automation and incident triage.
Author operational runbooks and mentor mid-level/junior engineers.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering with distributed systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong Python/Go capabilities for internal SRE platforms and tools.
Deep Kubernetes expertise with production EKS/GKE cluster lifecycles.
Advanced Terraform proficiency across complex AWS environments.
Experience in driving cloud cost-efficiency strategies and building FinOps dashboards.
Proven background in designing multi-region Disaster Recovery architectures.
Track record of defining SLI/SLOs and managing production observability platforms.
Experience with enterprise service meshes and production ingress/proxy systems.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
