Description:

  • Join Wealthsimple's Leverage team as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on backend systems for margin and lending.
  • Design and build services that track balances, calculate buying power, and ensure real-time correctness and high availability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with critical production systems.
  • Strong backend engineering skills, preferably with experience in Kotlin, Kafka, and GraphQL.
  • Proven ability to build low-latency, highly available services and take production ownership seriously.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
