Description:

Build scalable backend services and APIs for Jane's digital merchandising platform.
Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and design decisions.
Work with Product Managers to enhance advertising product offerings.
Partner with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to analyze and improve advertising data.
Implement best practices across the engineering team and participate in design/code reviews.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

4+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product-centered team.
Strong ownership and ability to navigate ambiguity independently.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and code design principles.
Experience with AdTech systems, including ad serving and real-time decisioning.
Familiarity with various database types and their use cases.
Proficiency in at least one system language (Go preferred).
Strong technical communication skills for diverse audiences.
Collaborative mindset with a passion for software development.
Experience in small, start-up engineering teams.
Knowledge of cloud ops infrastructure provisioning (Terraform preferred).
