Description:

  • Join Affirm's Data and Storage Services team to enhance data infrastructure across OLTP and OLAP systems.
  • Architect, build, and scale Relational and Distributed SQL Databases to improve mission-critical infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with backend systems.
  • Proficient in Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale database deployments and distributed database technologies.
  • Expertise in SQL tuning, performance optimization, and zero-downtime migrations.
  • Strong communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
