Description:

  • Owner is an AI-native system designed to help local business owners, starting with restaurants, succeed by integrating various business tools.
  • The Senior Backend Engineer will build reliable, high-impact systems and take ownership of complex problems, contributing to product strategy and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building and operating backend systems in production.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, databases, and distributed systems.
  • Proven ownership of systems at scale, focusing on reliability and performance.
  • Product-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Design teams.
