Mesh Systems is a trusted Microsoft Partner specializing in creating scalable, cloud-based systems for processing massive data volumes for global clients.
The company is on a path to merge IoT with cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of connected technology.
This position is a B2B contract that is 100% remote, with collaboration expected within the Central European Timezone (CET).
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $40 to $50 USD per hour.
Support is provided for Polish contractors working with a U.S. company.
The Senior Software Engineer will design and implement advanced cloud systems for IoT, including designing and maintaining scalable, distributed back-end systems, writing high-quality C#/.NET code for services on Microsoft Azure, integrating cloud solutions with IoT devices, and collaborating within a small engineering team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have senior proficiency and architectural understanding in C#/.NET, with deep knowledge of the language, framework, optimization, and modern design patterns.
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services is required, including Azure Container Apps, IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL, CosmosDb, and Key Vault.
Proven experience in building performant APIs and distributed, high-throughput systems is necessary.
Candidates should have the ability to design robust workflows for IoT data ingestion and device messaging at scale.
Strong communication skills in English are essential for collaboration with U.S. partners and clients.
Bonus points for experience with Azure Data Explorer or other NoSQL/Data Analytics solutions, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep/Terraform, CI/CD practices using Azure Pipelines/GitHub Actions, and experience with other major cloud providers like AWS or GCP.
