Description:

Join Modash as a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Search team, focusing on improving creator search across 400M+ profiles and billions of media files.
Work on large-scale data processing, retrieval systems, and multimodal embeddings to enhance customer experience in discovering creators.

Requirements:

Proven experience in building large-scale data or backend products with a focus on volume, latency, reliability, and cost.
Strong background in shipping products from concept to production, including scoping, architecture, implementation, and iteration.
Experience designing distributed systems and understanding operational tradeoffs.
Familiarity with LLM-powered features and the ability to balance capability against latency and cost.
Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous problems and communicate effectively across teams.
Experience in fast-moving product environments.
Bonus: Experience with multimodal embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and GPU infrastructure.
