Description:

  • Lead the technical evolution of programmatic video advertising capabilities at The New York Times.
  • Collaborate with product teams to create performant, video-first ad experiences for over 150 million digital readers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on AdTech.
  • Expertise in programmatic advertising, including bidder configuration and identity providers.
  • Understanding of outstream and programmatic video workflows, video players, and ad-signaling protocols.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, CI/CD tooling, and version control.
  • Knowledge of how technical decisions impact programmatic yield and user latency.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools.

Benefits:
