Description:

  • Found is building tools for the self-employed workforce, focusing on automating taxes and expense tracking.
  • The role is for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to work across product teams, shipping customer-facing features and improving team practices.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals.
  • Production experience with Ruby on Rails or a comparable framework, and comfort in React/TypeScript on the frontend.
  • Experience with relational databases at scale (MySQL, Spanner, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of collaboration across teams.
  • High standards for code quality and a habit of improving codebases.
