Description:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will lead multi-component projects and act as a technical leader on your team.
  • You will own architecture and testing strategies, drive systemic reliability improvements, and mentor engineers beyond your immediate group.
  • Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of multi-service features and systems, defining and enforcing testing strategies, acting as incident commander for medium-severity production incidents, authoring postmortems, serving as a technical lead for projects, mentoring engineers, and delivering initiatives that improve predictability, throughput, and system resilience.

Requirements:

  • You must be an expert in a primary programming language and competent in two or more others.
  • Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code is required.
  • Strong experience in designing APIs and distributed systems is necessary.
  • Mastery of testing best practices and quality standards is expected.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience is required.
  • You should have a proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
