Description:

  • Work on software managing the physical layer for network connectivity, including 1GBASE-T connectors and 400G optics.
  • Develop control software, instrumentation, and telemetry tools for monitoring physical link health.
  • Collaborate with Optics teams to define standards for new media and manage projects from definition to deployment.

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering + 8 years of experience or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of C, C++, and Python; familiarity with UNIX/Linux.
  • Knowledge of digital communication technologies and IP networking is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in small teams.
