Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and scaling Alpaca's payments and treasury platform.
Responsible for developing modern, scalable, event-driven systems to support global financial services.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience with systems at scale and microservices.
Strong coding skills in Go, with experience in cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud) and containerization (especially Kubernetes).
Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL), messaging queues, and distributed systems design.
Understanding of payment rails, financial ledgers, and domain/event-driven design.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
