Description:

rePurpose is a leading platform for packaging sustainability and compliance, aiming to eliminate plastic waste.
The Senior Software Engineer will architect and scale the platform, focusing on backend systems, data pipelines, and compliance workflows.

Requirements:

Deep experience in backend development using Node.js or similar frameworks, with strong API design skills.
Hands-on experience with AWS, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a focus on schema design and query optimization.
Familiarity with security best practices and building reliable systems.
Experience or interest in AI technologies and agentic workflows.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript and awareness of front-end technologies.
Excellent communication skills and experience in Agile environments.
A degree in Computer Science with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Competitive salary: $160,000 - $200,000 based on location and experience.
