Description:

RapidFort is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Security & Distributed Systems to join their remote engineering team.
The role involves designing and developing backend services and distributed systems for RapidFort’s cybersecurity platform, focusing on complex systems problems in containerized environments.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in backend platforms or distributed systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux internals, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with APIs, microservices, and large-scale data systems, along with debugging skills across technology stacks.
Interest in cybersecurity, with experience in software supply chain security or related fields being a plus.

Competitive base salary range of $150,000–$200,000, with additional equity and benefits.
