Fieldguide is a remote-first company focused on automating assurance and audit practices in cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audits.
As a Senior Software Security Engineer, you will build the security function from the ground up, ensuring secure practices across the organization.

Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience with security-relevant systems in production.
Experience leading security initiatives and improving engineering safety and speed.
Hands-on experience with identity and secrets management (OAuth 2.0, OIDC).
Familiarity with Kubernetes security primitives (RBAC, namespaces, network policies).
Ability to reason about trust boundaries and prioritize risks.
Adaptability to evolving priorities and a broad range of responsibilities.
Bonus: Experience with developer security tooling, SAML, SPIFFE/SPIRE, or securing LLM-based systems.
