Description:

Tailscale is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives on enterprise accounts, focusing on the technical aspects of the sales cycle.
The role involves qualifying use cases, leading discovery and architecture, running demos, and supporting early adoption and expansion, acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Requirements:

5–7+ years in a customer-facing Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect role within networking, security, or related enterprise software.
Deep understanding of zero-trust networking, secure connectivity, IAM integrations, and strong networking fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
Excellent communication skills and experience running technical evaluations and POCs in enterprise environments.
Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%) for customer meetings and workshops.
