Remote Senior/Staff Data Scientist, Analytics

Description:

• Serve as the statistical backbone of Bluefish’s Data Science team, focusing on experimentation and causal inference frameworks.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Applied Researchers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver insights and enhance platform capabilities.

Requirements:

• Strong SQL and Python skills for production-quality queries and analytical scripts.
• Deep statistics background including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and causal inference.
• Extensive experience in designing and operating experimentation frameworks at scale.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data preprocessing and model evaluation.
• Business acumen to translate analytical findings into actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex methods to diverse audiences.
• Experience with LLM or AI product data is a plus.
• Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques for predictive analytics and customer segmentation.
• Some experience with ML model deployment and understanding of inference pipelines.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Omni, Tableau).
