Remote Senior/Staff Software Development Engineer, EV Platform

Description:

• Join Mapbox as a Senior Backend Engineer on the EV Platform team, focusing on data infrastructure for global EV charging station coverage.
• Work on data ingestion pipelines, quality assurance systems, and APIs to ensure accurate and reliable EV charging data.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Rust (3+ years) for production backend services.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, ECS, Fargate, or Kubernetes; familiarity with Argo and Datadog is a plus.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts, distributed systems, and system architecture.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills in English and a passion for programming and quality.
