Remote Senior Synon & Cobol/400 Developer

Description:

• Design, develop, modify, and enhance applications using SYNON/COOL 2E, COBOL400, CL/400, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Develop and support RxCLAIM/pharmacy claims adjudication functionality and related business processes.
• Analyze and enhance complex claim processing logic, including business rules and system workflows.
• Maintain, modernize, and improve existing AS/400 applications while developing new solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, QA teams, and healthcare/PBM stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SYNON/COOL 2E, COBOL400, CL/400, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Strong hands-on experience with RxCLAIM and pharmacy claims adjudication systems.
• Strong knowledge of Healthcare/PBM processes and applications.
• Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
