Remote Software Developer II

Description:

• Design and develop backend software for processing real-time weather data, including alerts and observations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions for consumer and enterprise products.
• Enhance existing processors and develop new capabilities to support various data formats and business requirements.
• Ensure software reliability, maintainability, and observability in production environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend service development using Scala or Java.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and relational databases.
• Familiarity with structured and semi-structured data formats (XML, JSON) and RESTful APIs.
• Preferred: Experience with event-driven systems and weather-related data.
