Description:

  • Join Masabi's Data team to build a new data platform for public transport payments.
  • Work on ingesting Kafka topics into Apache Iceberg tables on AWS and replace the current Elasticsearch-based data store.

Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with production code, Git, and CI pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipelines and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools and clear communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Kafka, data privacy, and retention is a plus.
