Description:

Deep Sky is on a mission to accelerate the world's transition to carbon removal by developing and operating direct air capture (DAC) facilities.
The Software Engineer will be the hands-on owner of the DAC platform's user experience.
The role involves designing and delivering high-quality web applications for internal operations, compliance reporting, and external-facing dashboards used by carbon credit customers and the public.
Key responsibilities include front-end development and product design, system integration and APIs, infrastructure and data awareness, data collection and management, and collaboration and ownership.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in computer, electrical, robotics, aerospace engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or other related STEM disciplines is required.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with modern front-end development, specifically using React and TypeScript, is necessary.
Strong proficiency in designing and implementing APIs (REST) for system control and data access is required.
Experience in writing software for managing or reading time series data in an industrial or testing environment and automating workflows is essential.
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary is required.
Some travel may be required.
