Description:

Everbridge is seeking a Software Engineer for platform modernization to evolve a critical production system.
The role focuses on maintaining legacy systems while introducing modern services and infrastructure incrementally.

Requirements:

7-10+ years in software engineering.
Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in building scalable microservices and CI/CD pipelines (Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD).
Familiarity with AI coding assistants (Codex, Claude Code, etc.) and full-stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Scala).
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and system analysis skills.
Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Datadog, Loki) and guiding junior engineers.

Competitive salary range of $132,900 - $177,200, with potential variable compensation.
