The role of Software Engineer II involves building product features that power financial services, including payments and credit systems.
Responsibilities include owning the full lifecycle of medium-sized features, building user-facing features, internal tools, APIs, and backend services, and writing clear, maintainable code.
The position requires participation in code reviews, collaboration with other engineers, and balancing speed with reliability in a regulated environment.
