Description:

As a Software Engineer Intern at Simular, you will work closely with the founding team to help bring AI agents into the real world.
You may contribute to core product development by building new features and improving performance.
You will work with the infrastructure team on scaling systems and virtual machines.
You will support Forward Deployed Engineering projects by writing scripts and integrations to adapt agents to customer needs.
You will collaborate with designers and researchers to prototype new ideas and test them with users.
You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving startup where every line of code can make an impact.

Requirements:

You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
You should have solid programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar language.
You need to possess strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving ability; a competitive programming background (e.g. ACM ICPC, IOI, Google Code Jam, or equivalent contests) is highly preferred.
You should be willing to dive into different parts of the stack, from frontend to backend to deployment scripts.
You must demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Bonus points for prior internship or project experience in AI, agents, or productivity tools.
