Description:

  • Join Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe, as a Software Engineer focused on Observability.
  • Redesign and implement observability tools to ensure visibility into software performance and user experience at scale.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems; proficiency in Python, Elixir, or Go preferred.
  • Strong understanding of observability principles, metrics, logs, events, and traces.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry, OLAP databases, and high-traffic systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS or GCP) and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
