Description:

The position is for a Software Engineer at Career TEAM, which is a remote role with options to work from Manila, Cebu, or Davao.
This is a mid-level position that requires working night shifts from 10 PM to 7 AM PHT.
The salary range for this role is between Php 30,000 and 90,000.
The role involves working on the Career EDGE portal, which aims to change lives through technology.
As a full-stack engineer, you will work with new technologies on enterprise products serving a diverse population across the U.S.
You will be part of a newly forming team, contributing to the growth and shaping of the team while navigating the digital landscape of generative AI.
Daily tasks include coding (writing, reviewing, deploying, testing), participating in Scrum ceremonies, and innovating software solutions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of core web application development experience, both front-end and back-end.
Working experience with MySQL and MongoDB is considered a strong plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective collaboration and communication skills, are necessary.
Exposure to tools such as VSCode, Postman, Jira, GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker is required.
Candidates should have experience in building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
Familiarity with Angular/React, Express, MongoDB, NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript is expected.
Experience with cloud-based platforms for scalable solutions using DevOps is required.
Candidates should have experience in developing and deploying RESTful web services in XML, JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with middleware, open-source tools, and technologies is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working on multiple platforms, including Linux and Windows.
