Description:

  • Bioptimus is a fast-growing startup building a universal AI foundation model for biology, headquartered in Paris with remote options available.
  • The Software Engineer will develop and scale data architecture systems that support AI models and user-facing tools, focusing on biological data.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Python with experience in modern data tools and frameworks (e.g., Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI).
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) including schema design and query optimization.
  • Experience in designing APIs and a user-centric mindset for data infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
